Srivathsan Kumar is an excellent mridangam artist. He started his tutelage at the age of 5 under Vidhvan Sri Ramachandran and later from Padma Bhusha Sri T H. Vinayakram. Srivathsan has been a sishya of Kalaimamani Sri Mannargudi. A. Easwaran for past 12 years, which shaped up his career in mridangam. Srivathsan has been performing in All India Radio, stage Concerts and Bhajans. Srivathsan Kumar has been taking Mridangam classes (online and offline) over a period of 4 years.
